PROMOTION PROGRAM „ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND SAFETY“

Save money with environmental protection and safety - with eligible Kögel trailers

With the aim of supporting transport and logistics companies in the environmentally friendly and efficiency-enhancing modernization of their vehicle fleets, the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure has launched the national support program "Environmental protection and safety" launched.

Who in the period from 14.04.2026 to 31.08.2026 who opts for a Kögel trailer with energy-efficient equipment options receives money back from the state.

The program runs until August 31, 2026 24:00, or ends when the budget is exhausted. The specified period refers to the time in which applications can be submitted - not to the time in which vehicles can be ordered. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. So be quick!

The positive list comprises a Wide range of trailer components to the additional costs for vehicle concepts,
like that Type 1 long truck. Spare parts and retrofit parts such as a pallet stowage box are also eligible. Your Kögel sales contact will be happy to advise you!

Funding level and amounts

Funding rate: up to 80% of the eligible costs
Max. 33,000 euros per company / year
Formula for calculating the maximum amount: EUR 2,000 multiplied by the number of commercial vehicles in the fleet registered for public road traffic on December 1, 2025
Max. 300,000 € in 3 years/company
max. 17 eligible vehicles
First come, first served: Processing according to date of receipt of documents

At Kögel, we consider it our responsibility to do our best to make transport and logistics processes more environmentally and climate friendly in line with political requirements and the needs of our customers.

Eligible measures include*:

- - - Frame in lightweight construction
    - Height-adjustable superstructures
    - Trailer Telematics
    - Aerodynamically optimized components and wind deflectors
    - Tire pressure and refill systems
    - Winter and all-season tires (3PMSF - "snowflake" marking)
    - Tires with optimized rolling resistance and / or rolling noise
    - Theft protection such as cut-resistant mesh tarpaulin or box bodies with hard shell
    - Partition walls and cold retention curtains for refrigerated vehicles
    - Additional investment expenditure for cranable trailers and type 1 long trucks
    - Electrified trailer axles
    - Pallet stowage boxes
    - Lift and steering axles
