Andreas Schmid Logistik orders trailers from Kögel for their annual requirements in 2017

Andreas Schmid Logistik AG, with headquarters in Gersthofen, Bavaria, and Kögel Trailer GmbH & Co. KG reached on agreement at the IAA Commercial Vehicles 2016 that Kögel would again be the sole supplier of Andreas Schmid's annual trailer requirements in 2017. At the request of Andreas Schmid Logistik, the precise number of units is not being disclosed for reasons of competition.
Andreas Schmid Logistik currently operates in global procurement and distribution logistics, with 153 trailers and semi-trailers and 350 swap bodies. The company's truck freight transport meets even the most advanced logistics standards within Europe. With a comprehensive IDS network, it is equipped with a highly developed product line for system-guided general cargo within Germany and western and eastern Europe. Moreover, as a member of E.L.V.I.S. AG, Andreas Schmid works together with mid-sized transport companies across Europe, and has access to a network of more than 160 connected partners and a fleet of more than 16,000 trucks.
