Third place at the first European Championship run of the BFS Truck Trial Team
Last weekend the Truck Trial Season 2018 was opened in Rakov Potok, Croatia (near Zagreb) on a motor sport area. More than 5,000 enthusiastic fans created an exuberant atmosphere.
The weather and the terrain were ideal and the BFS Truck Trial Team gave their best. The varied and demanding sections and the strong competitors were a challenge for both – driver and co-driver. A fight for the top crystallized early on and during the whole run the first place was fiercely contested. In one of the last sections, however, the team slipped into the barrier, which ultimately cost them their victory. Despite all this, Jan Plieninger, Marc Stegmaier and his team managed to secure a spot on the podium.
On May 19th/20th, 2018, the next race will take place in Montalieu-Vercieu (France). Of course, we keep our fingers crossed for our team and keep up the excitement with them.
