Kögel goes Nordic: Kim Aaskov becomes Head of Sales. Strong presence at the Danish Transport Fair

Burtenbach, 2nd September 2021

  • Trailer expert Kim Aaskov has more than 25 years’ experience in the commercial vehicle sector
  • From 16th to 18th September, Kögel will present innovative products and services at the Transport Fair in Herning, Denmark

Kögel is continuing to expand its international sales structures and has appointed Kim Aaskov as Head of Sales for the Nordic region. In Aaskov, the Bavarian trailer manufacturer has acquired a well-rounded sales expert for the company, who will pave the way for the development of Kögel in the Nordic countries and establish Kögel services with a full range of solutions that appeal to customers and the market.

Kögel's presence at Transport 2021 in Herning, Denmark is fully in tune with the company motto, “Economy meets Ecology - Because we care”: Economy, sustainability and the responsible use of natural resources in the transport and logistics sector set the tone at Kögel. The company fulfils this responsibility with innovative transport solutions like the Kögel Cargo of the NOVUM generation, whose carefully considered construction enables individually tailored transport solutions and will soon be available in a special Nordic edition.
Services like Kögel Telematics, which allows forwarding companies to efficiently manage their daily goods transport and enables resource-efficient transport using trailer data, round off the comprehensive product portfolio.
The Kögel product palette offers robust, durable, volume-optimised and payload-optimised trailers, built to the highest quality standards.

Kim Aaskov is the new Head of Sales for the Nordic Region
In Kim Aaskov, Kögel has acquired a renowned sales expert with more than 25 years of experience in the commercial vehicle and semi-trailer sector, 17 of which were with a major European trailer manufacturer. Henceforth, Aaskov will be responsible for overseeing sales in the Nordic from the head office in Padborg, Denmark. The native Dane is fully behind Kögel’s guiding philosophy: “Economy meets Ecology – Because we care”. “Innovative transport solutions are the cornerstone of economic and sustainable goods transport,” remarks Kim Aaskov. “With Kögel trailers, we can offer our customers precisely that and create added value for our shared benefit, now and in the future. I look forward to meeting people in a friendly atmosphere at the Transport Fair in Herning. I warmly invite all attendees to visit our Stand 9406 in Hall M and talk to me about current trends in the transport and logistics sector, as well as Kögel trailers and services.”
