Kögel Multi – The platform semi-trailer for weather-resistant freight

With the Kögel Multi flat semi-trailer, forwarding companies can handle a wide range of different transport tasks. The platform trailer easily transports construction materials which are not weather-sensitive, palleted goods or extra-long or extra-wide materials. This is made possible with the optional drop sides which can be folded down or removed which can then be stored in an optional storage box. The flat semi-trailer certified according to DIN EN 12642 Code XL is available with a range of load-securing systems.

Kögel Multi: Your flexible platform vehicle

The Kögel Multi is a platform trailer for the building material transport business and also for any weather-resistant freight. The 3-axle semi-trailer - optionally with a self-steering axle for improved handling - can transport goods on pallets as well as construction materials which are extra long or extra wide. The platform trailer is easy to load: Simply fold down the optional drop sides on the sides and at the back. The aluminium drop sides are available in various heights (600, 800 or 1000 millimetres). Of course you can also completely remove the drop sides. An optional storage box underneath the loading platform will securely hold drop sides and folding stakes while driving. A clear advantage when planning a route: Using the flexible drop sides for example you can delivery cobblestones on pallets and then load extra long pipes or construction wood for the next drop.

Absolute assurance of an optimally secured load

With the variable loading options, the Kögel Multi helps logisticians save time, ensuring route planning can be flexible. This platform trailer is also a real allrounder with regards to load-securing: The optionally available eight rows of stake pockets for insertable stakes which are mounted flush right over the entire loading platform secure long materials of varying widths and lengths. Up to 24 pairs of lashing rings are attached to the VarioFix perforated steel external frame which you can use to safely secure your goods. Our load-securing components are based on the directive VDI 2700. This ensures that the body on the platform trailer is adequately dimensioned. In addition to that, the Kögel Multi is certified according to DIN EN 12642 Code XL. The platform vehicle thus meets the European stability requirements for reinforced bodies.
