Thomas Heckel, a boss for all cases

After 13 years of managing Kögel Trailer GmbH, Thomas Heckel has entered a well-deserved retirement. The thoroughbred entrepreneur and CFO took the helm from the moment the insolvent Kögel Fahrzeugwerke was taken over by shareholder Ulrich Humbaur from Gersthofen in 2009.

Thomas Heckel (63) has always been rooted in the region. As CFO of Kögel Trailer GmbH & Co. KG, he was responsible for sales and purchasing. Prior to that, the business administration graduate had accompanied the successful growth of Humbaur GmbH since 1994, where he was also responsible for sales and purchasing as an authorized signatory and member of the executive board until March of this year.

Not only shareholder Ulrich Humbaur and CEO Christian Renners said goodbye to the well-deserved retiree - the entire Kögel team also took the opportunity to say a fitting farewell to Thomas Heckel. For years, he shaped the leading European trailer manufacturer from Burtenbach in Bavaria and led it to success.
