Although elaborate floor coverings such as carpet, PVC, or wood may look attractive, they are often minor „environmental sins.“ When asked whether we really need them, our answer is a clear „no.“ In this case, doing without carpet saves us 8,696.87 kg of CO2. At Kögel, we consciously avoid using unnecessary materials in order to both reduce CO2 emissions during production and minimize waste after the trade show.

Even if we need wooden floor structures for the power supply, we take care to minimize their use while ensuring safety and order at our stand. For us, sustainability means proceeding with caution without compromising on quality or the comfort of our stand visitors.

The wooden elements we use come from the reusable stock of our stand builder. This means that they are carefully assembled and dismantled, stored and used for future applications. CO2 savings: -88 kg compared to laminate. This also applies to counters and digital steles - repeated use saves resources and protects the environment.

We focus on creative recycling for other purposes. Banners, exhibition walls and fabric remnants, for example, are transformed into unique designer pieces. This repurposing is done locally and supports the workshops for people with disabilities at the Dominikus-Ringeisen-Werk in Ursberg.

At the end of a trade fair, the focus is often on a quick dismantling and the return home of all participants. For us, the circular concept does not end with the trade fair. Where repurposing and upcycling are not possible, we ensure that the materials are carefully separated and disposed of. In this way, we ensure that the resources do not end up in landfill or, worse still, in the ocean, but remain in the economic cycle for as long as possible.
