KÖGEL COOL LITESHELL

wins International Trailer Award 2025

We are proud that the KÖGEL COOL LITESHELL took first place in the "Concept" category! This prestigious award was presented by a jury of 14 experts, who particularly praised the weight advantage of 700 kilograms compared to the industry standard. It also impresses with its globally unique production process and the use of innovative, lightweight and robust panels without a steel top layer. Thanks to the reduced unladen weight, the KÖGEL COOL LITESHELL offers a higher payload, noticeable fuel savings and a significant reduction in CO2 emissions. In addition, the high impact resistance of the panels ensures that the vehicle is less susceptible to repairs, which increases uptime and availability on the road. In the "Components" category, Kögel was awarded 2nd place for the innovative "Ferry Flex Guard" and "Ferry Swing Guard" underride guards. Thanks to their resilient and swinging properties, they provide additional protection, especially for RoRo transports, by preventing the vehicle from touching down and being damaged.

Kögel exclusively receives the BSFZ seal for outstanding research and development work.

With the award in accordance with the Research Allowance Act, Kögel is underlining its innovative expertise, which the company has been demonstrating for 90 years. The seal was awarded for the development of ultra-light and recyclable solar insulation panels for refrigerated trailers.

The new NOVUM trailer generation from Kögel received an award in the “Concept” category at IAA Commercial Vehicles. The 16-head jury from renowned European transport publications agreed: the Kögel NOVUM generation sets new standards for the overall concept of trailers. We are therefore proud to announce that Kögel is the new industry winner for 2019 in the trailer innovation segment.

Best Practice Award 2016

Innovation award for wide protection net from Kögel

Specialist magazine Logistra presents Kögel with an award for innovation in transport safety in the commercial vehicle sector. The joint project between Dolezych GmbH & Co.KG, Kögel Trailer GmbH & Co.KG and TÜV NORD was a massive success. The award was granted for Kögel's side protection net, which helps to secure the load and is a viable alternative to aluminium and wooden slats thanks to its reduced weight.

With our particular enthusiasm for innovative transport technology Made in Germany, we are already working on the next awards. Award and seal for Kögel quality.
