Reliable partnership for ten years: transport service provider Log-X procures 19 additional Kögel Mega trailers

Log-X, a specialist company for long-distance transport and intracompany transport, has once again opted for Kögel Mega trailers. This year, the Czech company expanded its fleet with 19 additional, two-axle high-volume specialists from the Burtenbach trailer manufacturer.

The Czech transport service provider Log-X and Burtenbach trailer manufacturer Kögel are further extending their decade-long partnership. After initially procuring nine Kögel Megas in 2022, the company from Osek (central Czech Republic), northwest of Prague, acquired 19 additional high-volume specialists this year. This means that Kögel has now supplied around two thirds of the company’s 60-trailer fleet.

The Kögel Mega is specially designed for high-volume transport and offers both a high load capacity with a loading height of a full three metres and a comparatively low tare weight. Log-X ordered the 19 new Kögel Megas in a two-axle version that has been optimised for operating costs, and weighs only 5,720 kilograms with basic equipment. Despite its low tare weight, the Kögel Mega offers extraordinary stability and a long service life. Extensive industry equipment and numerous body and chassis variants allow the trailers to be individually tailored to the respective transport task.

Log-X’s striking trailers, painted in the company colour of cobalt blue, are used in domestic and international long-distance transport. In combination with Log-X’s thoughtfully styled and, in part, airbrushed tractor units, they really stand out on major transport routes.
