Maximum volume

Alongside extraordinary stability and high durability with a low basic weight, the Kögel Mega’s standout feature is usable cargo volume. The inner clearance height is always three metres and can be fully exploited throughout the loading area width, as well as to beneath the roof.

A low frame and chassis, optimized for 19.5" tires, make it possible to maximize body volume. This makes the Kögel Mega a much-loved partner for automotive transportation, but also for all types of transportation where maximum cargo volume is required.

Corrosion protection

Nano-Ceramic with KTL coating is the most modern and high-quality form of industrial surface treatment. It is just as good as zinc phosphating, but more environmentally friendly. The durable, clean coating can be repainted at any time. We grant a ten-year guarantee against rusting through on the vehicle frame.

Frame construction

The stable, distortion-resistant, welded ladder frame with inserted cross beams for high payloads and point loads forms the backbone of the Kögel NOVUM vehicle generation. It guarantees a long service life.

We developed Kögel COILFIX to facilitate perfect load-securing for coils and split strips on trailers. Stanchions and an easy-to-use mechanism form a positive-locking securing system. This means the coils can be lashed particularly quickly. COILFIX therefore facilitates the reliable and stable securing of the coils without damaging the cargo.

The innovative body of the NOVUM generation, combined with a reinforced roof and side tarpaulins with integrated containment system, facilitates load-securing for positive-locking beverage transportation. Kögel Strong & Go also meets Daimler guideline 9.5 without slats.

Kögel Telematics

The position of your trailer in real time, coupling status, EBS data, door position status, ambient temperature, refrigeration mode and configured settings – these and many other data can be displayed via the Kögel Telematics Connectivity Database on the Kögel Telematics Web portal and other fleet management systems. You can therefore import your data into existing processes and a wide variety of software systems in real time.
